While at Vanderbilt, Emily served as the Editor-in-Chief of Vanderbilt’s literary and arts magazine, a research assistant in the Maxcey Cognitive Psychology lab, and as a gallery liaison at the Cohen Fine Arts Gallery. As the recipient of the Dieter and Ingrid Sevin Award for Academic Achievement and the first-place Margaret Stonewall Wooldridge Hamblet Grant for Artistic Research & Practice, she moved to Berlin following graduation to participate in an artist residency program. Upon returning to NYC, Emily worked at David Zwirner gallery and Mother Design. She is currently pursuing a master's degree at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. In her spare time she writes German translations for the Guggenheim Museum and makes jewelry.
