While at Brown, Roshan conducted research that applied machine learning to healthcare and medicine. He also led the South Asian Students Association and was involved in the Center for Language Studies, participating in and leading Spanish, Hindi, Urdu, and Persian language programming. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude with honors in applied mathematics, after which he obtained his Sc.M. in Data Science at Brown, focusing on building artificial intelligence systems for real-world data. Roshan is currently pursuing his M.D. at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he currently conducts deep learning healthcare research. In his spare time, Roshan enjoys playing the saxophone, running in Central Park, and DJing.
